A selection of pictures from 2008

The snow certainly lay

deep and crisp and even...

although it was sometime

after Christmas...

so not much carol singing

We had just finished

putting in our new

summer house

Thats what you call timing!

Gratefully the weather cleared

up for the annual boiler tests

It was nice to have our friends

come to the LOR to do the

boiler tests

Eleanor's axle unfortunately

broke and so it had to be

remade - still it was a good

opportunity to renew the

axle pump and it's eccentric

A start is made on the

signal box

We have used Victorian red

bricks with a mellow yellow

stripe

Now we must complete the

woodwork so we can then

put in the signalling systems

All is going according to plan
I just wish I had seen the plan

Now we have just got to hope this

fits onto the brickwork

Fitted at last ...
and looking quite good
Still a little more to do ...
like finish the door and glaze the windows
